• Cook County Bar Association: 2008 Richard E. Westbrooks Award for outstanding legal excellence and distinguished service; providing community support to Haitian immigrants
• Mt. Zion Baptist Church: 2009 - Juneteenth Service Award - Dedicated services to citizens worldwide in the cause of justice and equality
